Clean elegant lines are the primary theme of my work. I create objects devoid of overly ornate detail, in favor of a less is more philosophy. Though much of my work appears uncomplicated at first glance, further inspection reveals subtle details that blend seemlessly to create a harmonious whole. It is here where craftsmanship meets artistry, and the challenge of creating and executing passionate work is what compels me.

 This design philosophy is tempered by the interactive nature of many of my pieces. Whenever possible, I incorporate a less than obvious feature that engages the viewer. Tops that spin, and guitar strings tucked inconspicuoulsly into the backs of hallway tables are several of the elements I have incorporated into previous pieces. These unique touches add an element of surprise and distinctiveness unavailable in much of the work commonly offered today.
